Dialpad Browser CTI Extension - Click to Call
Published 24 September 2025
Overview
The Dialpad CTI Chrome Extension makes it easier to manage calls without leaving the web apps you already use.
If you’re constantly switching between your CRM (like Salesforce or HubSpot), your email, and your Dialpad app, this extension helps bring everything together. With CTI, you’ll see a mini version of Dialpad pop up inside the web apps you already use—like Gmail, Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zendesk. That means you can start calls, log notes, and update records all without leaving the page you’re on.
This means you can:
-
Click to call directly from web pages or CRM records.
-
Access call controls (mute, transfer, hold, hang up) in your browser.
-
Log activities, add notes, or update CRM records in real time during calls.
-
Save time by reducing context switching between different apps.
💡 Tip: The CTI extension is especially valuable for sales or support teams who live in a CRM all day and want Dialpad functionality inside their browser.
Why Use It?
The CTI Extension saves time and makes everyday workflows more efficient. Here are a few examples:
- Sales reps can call leads directly from Salesforce or HubSpot with one click, and notes are logged instantly.
- Support agents can create or update tickets in Zendesk while staying on the line with customers—no need to flip between multiple apps.
- Anyone working in Gmail or Google Workspace can click-to-call or message directly from emails, calendar invites, or docs.
💡 Pro Tip: If you already use Dialpad Everywhere, think of CTI as its browser-based companion. CTI lives in Chrome (or Edge), while Everywhere floats on your desktop.
