HBX - Step-by-Step Guide to Updating Your Welcome Greetings in the Admin Portal

Only HBX Admins have the necessary permissions to manage or change call routing settings. If you need adjustments made to your call routing, please reach out to your HBX Admin for assistance.

 

1. Login to your HPBX Admin Portal:

2. There are two ways we can edit the Welcome Greetings, you can click Call Queues or Music on Hold Options from your home screen.


 

Updating MOH or Welcome Greeting in Call Queue:

  1. Click Call Queue.
  2. Select the assigned call queue or extension (e.g., Koogarah Denture MAIN or ext. 5000).
  3. On the right side, click the music icon to update the MOH or Welcome Greeting.
  4. When redirected click Add Music.
  5. Upload your audio file.



Music On Hold:

  1. Click Music On Hold.
  2. If the call queue isn't showing, this only means there is no welcome greeting that has been set before, search for the extension in the search bar and press Enter.
  3. Once redirected, click on Add Music.
  4. Upload your audio file

 

Note: When you reach the Music On Hold page, there are two ways to apply your welcome greeting, in steps 5.1 and 5.2


Both options allow you to set up a welcome greeting for your call routing.

 

5.1 Add Music (under the Music section) – This allows callers to interrupt the greeting and select a prompt or direct to an operator before it finishes.

 

5.2 Add Introduction (under the Messages section) – Callers must listen to the full greeting before being connected to an operator.
