Set Up Personal Working Hours & SMS Auto Reply in Dialpad

Purpose

This guide outlines how to set up your personal working hours and configure SMS Auto Reply settings in your Dialpad personal settings to manage call and message notifications effectively.

 

Scope: This is applicable to individual users on any Dialpad plan with access to dialpad.com/settings

 

What you may update:

1. Personal Working Hours

  • Log in to your Diapad personal settings via dialpad.com/settings
  • Scroll down and click on Call Handling and Voicemail, scroll down to Personal Working Hours
  • Under When do you want to receive calls and message notifications?, choose one of the following:
     
    • Always take calls (24/7) - no schedule restrictions
    • Only during specific hours - allows customer working hours for each day.

  • Select your timezone (eg. GMT+10:00 Australia/Sydney).
  • Set your Working Hours by adjusting the times for each weekday.

 

 

  • Ensure changes are auto-saved.

 

2. SMS Auto Reply

  • From your Personal Working Hours scroll down to the next section, and you will find SMS Auto-Reply

 

 

  • Enable one of the following options:
    • Automatically reply to messages when in 'Do Not Disturb' mode
    • Automatically reply to messages received outside of my personal working hours
  • Enter your custom auto-reply message.

 

For example:

Thanks for your message. I'm currently unavailable, but I'll get back to you during my working hours.

 

  • Your settings will save automatically.
